NEW USER GUIDE:
Welcome to Future Perfect Radio! We're an Internet radio station with customizable streams of great music. We offer over 35 different "channels" of music -- from New Music to Post-Rock to Lollapalooza.
Each of these channels delivers a unique stream of music to you when you launch them. That means you can skip songs, pause the music or even remove artists!
Ready to get started? Then let's go:
SEARCHING:
On the homepage the search bar is in the middle of the page (on every other page, the search bar can always be found at the top of the screen). Enter an artist or keyword in the search box and click the "Go" button.
You'll be presented with a list of channels, like that pictured below.
Simply click on the channel title, or image, to start listening! You'll also see a description of the channel and how often the searched artist plays.
If you want to search for a different artist or keyword, simply use the search box found at the top of the screen!
BROWSING:
To browse our 35+ channels, click the "channels" link in the top right of our site. You'll be presented with a list of options:
You can get back from there to the main channels page by clicking "Back" on your browser, or "Channels" in the navigation stream in the top left of your page.

Step 1: Our website
The Future Perfect Radio website is, we hope, easy to navigate. On the homepage (pictured below), there are 4 options, explained below.- A: Search box -- Enter an artist or keyword here, then click the "Go" button. You'll be presented with a list of channels that play that artist or match your keyword. Jump to info about the search results page here.
B: Recommended channels -- We've listed some of our favorite and most popular channels here for quick access. Click the picture to launch the radio player. Or, you can click the "Info" button to find out more about the channel, or "Similar" to find similar channels. Finally, click "Like" to instantly post your love for the channel on Facebook.
C: Menu -- Find links here to go to our blog, find a full list of channels, learn about our mobile applications and get help.
D: Social media links -- Click any of these to join Future Perfect Radio on Facebook, Twitter or read our blog. You can also always find links here to go to our full list of channels, our mobile apps page, find out more about FPR and how to contact us.
Step 2: Find a channel
There are two ways to find a channel on Future Perfect: searching and browsing.SEARCHING:

You'll be presented with a list of channels, like that pictured below.

BROWSING:
To browse our 35+ channels, click the "channels" link in the top right of our site. You'll be presented with a list of options:
- Basic -- Our basic channels, like New Music, Best of the Decade and Indie 101
- Genres -- Channels based on popular indie genres, like twee-pop, post-rock and chamber pop
- Locales -- Channels filled with artists from certain cities and areas of the world (Chicago, New York, UK)
- BYO -- Build Your Own custom channel out of our 35+ options!
You can get back from there to the main channels page by clicking "Back" on your browser, or "Channels" in the navigation stream in the top left of your page.
Step 3: The player
We hope you'll spend the majority of your time on Future Perfect Radio in the player, listening to great music. There are 8 parts of the radio player, indicated in the picture below:-
A: Now Playing tab -- Displays what music is currently playing
B: Artist List tab -- Displays a list of the artists in the channel and allows you to deselect artists you don't want to hear
C: Other Channels tab -- Displays other Future Perfect Radio channels
D: Metadata -- Displays information about song currently playing
E: Current CD -- Artwork of song currently playing. Click it to buy the album on Amazon!
F: Previous CDs -- Artwork of songs recently played. Click them to buy on Amazon!
G: Volume slider -- This controls the volume of the music
H: Player controls -- The play button starts the music if paused. The pause button pauses the music. The fast-forward button skips to the next track!

Step 4: Share the love
Love Future Perfect Radio? Then please share us with your friends! There are a few ways to do so:- 1) Join us on Facebook and Twitter, then tell your friends
- 2) Click the social media buttons sprinkled around the site
- 3) Visit our Share page for cool buttons, banners and more to embed on your sites!
